110th Annual Conference
of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History

From September 24th through to the 29th, 2025, Rosalie Fawkes attended the 110th Annual Conference of The Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH).  The 2025 theme was: African Americans and Labour.

At the conference, Rosalie Fawkes gave a presentation on the arrival of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in The Bahamas in 1958.  The title of presentation was, "He Came to Lend Support".  The presentation can be viewed above.
