Today the Commonwealth of the Bahamas is locked in a life-and-death struggle against the scourge of drugs and political corruption which will destroy us all, if they are allowed to go unchecked. The Labour Party, however, is not the first to proclaim this truth. Over two thousand (2000) years ago the wisest of men declared: "Righteousness exalteth the Nation but sin is a reproach to any people." (Proverbs 14:34).

The sickness and social injustice we now experience are the direct result of the type of leaders we sent to the House during the last fourteen (14) years. They all have forgotten who sent them to the House of Assembly and whose interest they are supposed to protect.

In order to stop the rot which has set in, those corrupt politicians must be removed and replaced by men and women who live THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, observe THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT and practice THE GOLDEN RULE in their private and public lives.

To build a society that has an abiding respect for Christian values and the Rule of Law will require the best efforts of everyone. The Labour Party therefore invites you to become a partner with us in this great adventure. Together we can make the NAME of Bahamas great again; together, we can make the difference.
